The Estate

Community Farm

In 2019, under the leadership of Graham Willett, Seeds of Eden, the estate set up a seven acre Stanford Hall Community Farm. This is largely a volunteer based project that supplies vegetables to local families and schools and runs an educational programme on traditional no-dig sustainable growing methods, based on historic, pre-industrial farming practices.

With the values of resilience, inclusivity and education at the core of what we do, our farm brings the community together to produce a diverse range of organic food. Our inclusive membership system offers access to real food and agro-ecological education for all, with 60 families, 4 schools and several local businesses now enjoying our produce.
