Organised by Bushcraft Magazine, this event is a wonderful opportunity to join Ray Mears in the woods for a unique weekend packed full of fun, creativity and learning.
Herein lies a wonderful opportunity to join Ray Mears in the woods for a unique weekend packed full of fun, creativity and learning.
Within the stunning grounds and ancient parkland of the Stanford Hall Estate, Bushcraft Magazine together with Ray Mears invite you to this truly special venue. With a beautiful lake and 1/4 mile frontage to the River Avon, the grounds and woodlands are bustling with nature and wildlife and presents majestic oak tree lined avenues which radiate out from the Hall into 700 acres of private parkland.
You’ll be able to temporarily forget the stresses of the outside world and relax into a weekend of bushcraft – and who better to host this weekend than the man who has recently marked forty years in the ‘industry’, the pioneer of the bushcraft revolution worldwide – Ray Mears!
Divided into groups, Ray will take you on an unforgettable woodland journey to include fascinating demonstrations and workshops.
During the course of the weekend, there will be loads of scope to engage with everyone’s favourite – not least of which will be at the fabulous meal on Saturday evening where, in the confines of the beautiful, cobbled courtyard, our chefs will prepare a sumptuous meal hosted by Ray.
On Sunday afternoon, we’ll all gather for a talk/presentation by Ray followed by a book signing session with autograph/photo opportunity.
Whilst you are awaiting your class with Ray, our friend and associate Jason Ingamells and the highly trained instructors of Woodland Ways will be offering you a whole host of craft and skill enhancing sessions
